Why 2FA Matters
Standard passwords are a good start, but they aren't invincible. By enabling 2FA, you ensure that even if someone manages to get hold of your password, they still won’t be able to access your account without a unique, time-sensitive code generated by your mobile device.
How It Works
Once enabled, logging in will involve two quick steps:
- Something you know: Your standard Blue Canvas email and password.
- Something you have: A 6-digit verification code from your preferred authenticator app (like Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
Setting It Up in Seconds
Ready to lock things down? It’s easy:
- Navigate to your Account Settings.
- Select the Security tab.
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication and follow the on-screen instructions to scan your QR code.
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to download your recovery codes! Store them in a safe place (like a password manager) just in case you lose access to your mobile device.
